Certification

A certificate here is a hard gate, not a badge

Our certification is not decoration for a profile. It is the switch that decides whether an engineer can be assigned to a project at all. Here is exactly what it takes to earn one — and why it is hard to fake.

Four tracks, three levels

Every track certifies at three levels, from supervised fundamentals to independent expert. You cannot skip a level.

PLC & Controls
L1 · Fundamentals
Executes specified ladder/ST work under guidance
L2 · Independent
Owns a control scope end to end
L3 · Expert
Architects control systems and safety
Robotics
L1 · Fundamentals
Runs taught programs and defined cell work
L2 · Independent
Programs and commissions a cell solo
L3 · Expert
Designs cells, leads multi-robot commissioning
Machine Vision
L1 · Fundamentals
Configures inspections and standard lighting
L2 · Independent
Designs robust inspection, calibrates solo
L3 · Expert
Architects demanding vision systems
Electrical
L1 · Fundamentals
Produces standard panel layouts and schematics
L2 · Independent
Designs compliant panels and drives solo
L3 · Expert
Architects power distribution and safety

Levels are cumulative: you must hold L1 before attempting L2, and L2 before L3. Each level is a separate timed exam.

From enrollment to assignment

Six gates, each one blocking the next until it is cleared. We show what each gate checks — not made-up pass rates, because the platform is still in beta and we will not invent numbers.

  1. 1
    Enroll
Pick a track and level. L1 is open to everyone; L2 and L3 unlock only after you hold the level below.
  2. 2
    Study & log time
Work through the AI learning path. Study time is timed on the server, not self-reported.
  3. 3
    AI exam
    40 minutes, 10 questions (5 multiple-choice + 3 scenario + 2 deep-analysis). You need 70/100 to pass.
  4. 4
    Human review
Passing the AI grader is not enough. An admin reviews the paper by hand before anything is issued.
  5. 5
    Certificate issued
The credential is recorded on your engineer profile for employers to see.
  6. 6
    Assignment unlocked
Only now can you be assigned to official on-site projects in that track. No certificate, no assignment.

Designed against shortcuts

The exam is built so that the only way through is to actually know the material.

Randomized question bank

Up to 20 exam sets are stored per track × level × language. Every attempt draws one at random, so memorizing a single paper gets you nowhere.

Server-side timer

The 40-minute deadline is enforced on the server. The browser clock is never trusted; a late submission is marked expired.

Failure cooldown

Fail an exam and you wait 7 days before retaking the same track and level — enough to close the door on brute-forcing the bank.

Server-side grading

Multiple-choice answer keys never reach the browser. Grading happens on the server, so you cannot read the answers out of the network tab.

Where the exam lives

Certification is earned through the training module. Study the AI learning path, then take the timed exam there — this page explains the rules, /training is where you sit them.
